City's Draft Climate Adaptation Strategy, Climate Ready O‘ahu, Now Available for Public Comment!
As we work hastily to decrease greenhouse gas emissions to slow down the effects of climate change, we must also take climate adaptation measures to decrease our vulnerability to hazards like sea-level rise, increasing temperatures, and more—that’s where Climate Ready Oʻahu comes in.
Climate Ready O‘ahu asks us to imagine the kind of future we want for ourselves, our families, and future generations. When we understand the risks that climate change presents, we can be better prepared to navigate its challenges on the pathway to a climate-ready future. But what does a climate-ready O‘ahu look like? Check out the draft to find out! And while you’re reviewing, be sure to share your manaʻo by posting your comments directly on the document.
