10/2/23 RCHS Newsletter
We find ourselves two weeks from Fall Break and the end of the first quarter of the school year.
This is a great time to check in with your student to see how the school year is going academically and socially. Progress grades will be posted prior to Fall Break. These grades are not transcripted, rather just giving a clear indication of your students standing halfway through the semester. Please remember that students have an hour of Access each Tuesday and Thursday where they can spend extra time with any of their teachers for assistance.
The first quarter has felt very traditional this year. Our Academics, Activities and Athletics are all thriving and our students are participating in valuable learning opportunities in each arena.
We thank you for your continued support of RCHS and your students.
Sincerely,
Andy Abner

Juniors & Seniors PARKING
We wanted to make you aware that we have received a growing number of complaints on students parking in the neighborhoods adjacent to our campus. The complaints are of students littering, cutting through yards and driving unsafely. The complaints have been coming to us as well as the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
We do not want these neighbors disgruntled and we do not want them to move forward with trying to install no parking signs during school days. We ask that you please be respectful of our neighbors.
Thank you for your help with this matter.

Seminar Updates
We have had a lot going on the last few weeks during seminar and homecoming festivities. Last week our 10th graders did a career cluster activity in Naviance and had a class meeting with Jostens about class rings. Our 11th grade students worked through healthy relationship seminar lessons. Our 12th grade students had a senior class meeting with Jostens about ordering caps and gowns and had a lesson around letters of recommendations. This week we are hosting a career expo for all students to attend. Thank you for your continued support with Seminar.
