Mark Your Calendar - Parent/Teacher Conference Days

November 10th and 14th are parent teacher conference days at Norwich Middle School. Students will be dismissed at 11:27 on these days, and a bagged grab and go lunch will be available to all students as they leave the building for the day.

We will be contacting parents to set up conferences that teachers have requested, but if you are interested in setting up a time to meet with the teachers, please call the office at 607-334-1600 x2001.

Conferences will run from noon to 3:00 on these days!!

Veterans Day at NMS

On November 11th we do not have school so that we can honor those who have served our country. Please take a few minutes to discuss with your child the reason we don't have school, and remember those who have given so much for us.

Thanksgiving Recess

This is a reminder that school is closed November 23, 24, and 25 for Thanksgiving Recess.

We hope that everyone has an amazing holiday season, and that you get to spend some quality time with friends and family.

Reading IS Fundamental

Did you know - ALL students at Norwich Middle School should be reading independently 40 minutes a day. Please encourage your student to spend time every day at home to complete this important task!!

The next time he/she says they don't have any homework, ask them if they did their reading for the day. Talk with them about what their reading. What interests them about the characters. What they think will happen next. The more you can be a part of what your student is doing in school, the more meaningful it will be for them.
