When is Your Child Late?
We mark your child late after 8:30 am. Our first bell rings then so if kids arrive after that, they are considered late. Our doors open at 8:15 am so there is ample time to be here on time, ready to go. Please try to ensure your child is arriving to school on time.
Junior High Basketball
We had a great turnout for our Girls' & Boys' Basketball teams this year!
Thank you to our coaches Ms. Balisky, Miss Tetreau & Coach Troy.
GO KNIGHTS!!!
School Council "Shout Outs"
Our school council has been doing "shout outs" for our staff this year. They are now extending their generosity to our students, too! If you would like to recognize a staff member or student and are unable to make it in, call (780) 766-9103 or email barbaramurphy@pwpsd.ca and we can enter on your behalf.
Colder Weather
Our students go outside twice a day for 20 minutes each time. Please be sure they have appropriate clothing for the changing temps. PWPSD asks that students who ride on their buses be dressed appropriately.
Bussing in Colder Temps
This is the guideline PWPSD uses when determining when to cancel buses.
PWPSD Bus App
Get the app to keep up to date with your bus' status.
If/when all Wembley buses are cancelled, this includes the BRHS transfer buses for Grades 10-12.
Hot Lunch Program
We use Munch a Lunch, an online order & payment site. You will need to set up an account (if you don't already have one) and order & pay (at the time of ordering) with a credit card.
Lunch days are Tuesday & Thursdays.
https://munchalunch.com/schools/het/
***There will NOT be any hot lunches on Tuesday, February 28 or Thursday, March 2 as we are at Nitehawk those 2 days. If you already ordered, you will have a credit on your account to use.***
Closed Campus Policy
