Leander ISD: Handbook Update

The Technology Department has updated the District's User Access plan to ensure the security of the District's systems. Please read the bolded sections below which outline the removal of employee access to the system upon departure from LISD. UPDATED ITS USER ACCESS PLAN

• 2.0 Management Of User Access
• 2.1 Users shall be formally registered within the District’s ERP system at the time of their employment with LISD. Users shall be reregistered upon changing jobs within LISD.
• 2.2 Users shall be inactivated/unregistered within the District’s ERP system upon leaving LISD. User accounts will inactivate within 24 hours of status change within the District’s ERP system.
• 2.2.1 Inactivated accounts can no longer access District resources, including local server storage, cloud storage, and email systems. Inactivated accounts will only have access to the server hosting Employee Self-Service.

• 2.0 Gestión de acceso de usuarios
• 2.1 Los usuarios deberán estar registrados formalmente dentro del sistema ERP del distrito en el momento de su empleo con LISD. Los usuarios se volverán a registrar al cambiar de trabajo dentro de LISD.
• 2.2 Los usuarios serán desactivados/no registrados dentro del sistema ERP del distrito al salir de LISD. Las cuentas de usuario se desactivaran dentro de las 24 horas posteriores al cambio de estado dentro del sistema ERP del distrito.
• 2.2.1 Las cuentas desactivadas ya no pueden acceder a los recursos del distrito, incluido el almacenamiento en la nube y los sistemas de correo electrónico. Las cuentas inactivas sólo tendrán acceso al servidor que alberga el autoservicio de empleados.
