A Note from Mrs. Weil 📚
This December I hope you are thinking of giving books as gifts! I love to go into a book store and find a just right book to give as a gift. I always end up finding a few I gift to myself as well. :)
Thank you to all who participated in the Book Blast program. It is such a special program that allows all our students to receive one book. My hope is that those books will be here before Christmas.
Right now we have our Book Character Ornament activity going on. Your child can bring those to the library anytime from now until Dec. 15th. I can’t wait to see how creative everyone gets.
Happy Reading and Merry Christmas

Greetings from Mrs. Panzer:
Hello, Central families! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break.
PIE meetings will be held the first Friday evening of every month. The first meeting is this Friday, December 1 at 6:00 pm. We look forward to growing this group and creating multiple opportunities for families to get involved with their child’s education here at Central.
I continue to encourage you to make sure your child is getting plenty of sleep at night. Good sleep is beneficial for their social emotional health, as well as their academic achievement. I also continue to limit your child’s screen time on phones, tablets, iPads, etc., especially before bedtime. We have a lot of fun things planned for December, which also means changes in routines and schedules here at school. Children are able to handle those types of changes when they are well rested and not tired.
Wishing you a wonderful December and a wonderful winter break!
T-Shirt Winner and Design!
STUCO brought back a Central tradition this year. We had a T-shirt design contest, with the winner's design being made into our 2023-2034 school shirt. Our winner this year was Kelly V. from Mrs. Montgomery's class. If you would like to order, please fill out the order form sent home with your child return to the office by December 15th! We will accept cash or checks made payable to CENTRAL PIE.
