Principal's Corner
Happy Friday! Another great week at EES. We are four weeks into the school year and the teaching and learning is in full swing. Monday, October 12 is Indigenous People Day. A holiday was signed into law in 2019 in place of Columbus day, The day provides us an opportunity to acknowledge the land that we live on and recognize the history and culture of Native Americans. I hope Monday's weather will allow for us to be outside to enjoy our beautiful state.
Stay well,
Mrs. J-A
Principal

COVID Wellness Check-In Update
A part of our transition from Step II to Step III includes a change in our morning health check procedures. These changes are in keeping with AOE guidance and other districts in Chittenden county. Beginning October 19, 2020 parents are required to administer the health questions prior to bringing your child to school. Temperature checks and hand sanitizing procedures will continue. Your cooperation is appreciated. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Please check your child’s backpack for more detailed information. There will be two copies of the information. One to keep at home as a reminder to do the health check each morning. The other one needs your signature and should be returned to school. Thanks so much for your cooperation.
