Food Drive-Character Theme of the Month: Caring
Beeson Food Drive Begins
Our food drive begins Wednesday, December 1st, and will continue through Friday, December 10th. All Beeson students are encouraged to bring commercially sealed cans, boxes or bags of food each morning, since the items collected will be donated to Beeson families in need.
This is a great opportunity for students to demonstrate empathy and kindness to those around them. Thank you in advance for your willingness to help others.
Respectfully,
Mrs. Teran

Counselors Corner
The Character word for the month of November was courage. Usually we think of courage as being brave in the face of danger or when facing a difficult situation in life. Courage also gives us strength to accomplish difficult tasks and helps us do the right thing even when we are afraid or frightened. It takes courage to persevere, to never give up, even when it is something that is very difficult, such as learning new concepts in school. It also takes courage to stand up for yourself and for others when someone is using bullying behavior. The Character word for December is caring. Pablo Casals said “I feel the capacity to care is the thing which gives life its deepest meaning.” Please be generous with your food donation during our Food Drive this month.
Thank you for your help and support!
