Library Notes
The next few months are going to be so busy in the library. In February we will host the Scholastic Book Fair. Be sure to be checking the school Facebook page for updates on it, as well as flyers coming home. This year we are introducing E-Wallet. This allows you to upload money to your child in a digital account if you want. I will be sending home a flyer about how that works. We also will take debit/credit cards and cash at the book fair. I can’t wait to show you the wonderful books arriving for purchase.
In March we will celebrate Read Across America Week. The whole school will be doing some exciting things to celebrate reading. We will also be inviting families to come read to students that Friday. I will send out more information on this as it gets closer.

Our second semester got off to a great start!
Our 100th Day of School is on Friday. We are 100 days smarter! Please be sure to check the Central Facebook page. I think many classrooms will be doing fun things for this day and we will put pictures of that on Facebook.
We have a lot of testing coming up in the next several months. It is very important for students to get good sleep at night and for their mornings to be calm and peaceful before they come to school. We appreciate the opportunity to partner with you in your child’s education.
We look forward to seeing you at Parent/Teacher Conferences next week. We know everyone has busy schedules. If you cannot attend conferences, please schedule another time with your child’s teacher. It takes all of us working together to impact your child’s education.
