From the Library
Spring is one of my favorite times of year. There are so many great books about spring , growing things, and baby animals. It becomes very easy to connect what you are reading to things you see outside. As you read books with your student, ask them to connect to the world around them. If you are reading about gardening or plants, go buy a plant to watch grow. Activities like these make reading more impactful plus create a meaningful family experience as well.
This month the library will be hosting a two week bingo reading challenge for families to do at home. It will run. April 17th—28th. Be looking for more information as it gets closer.

A Note from Mrs. Panzer
Welcome to a new month!
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will be taking state assessments most of this month. The kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades are working on small acts of kindness to help motivate our test takers and give them support during state assessments.
Our 5th graders will be visiting Comanche Middle School at the end of the month so they have an idea of what to expect in middle school. We are excited for our 5th graders as they get ready to take the next step in their education journey, but we will miss them!
We appreciate any help you can give us during our fundraising event we have going on through April 14th. The money raised helps fund student events!
