Thank you everybody who attended our workshops this February! We were able to hear voices from all over the island from Hawai'i Kai to Waialua, Kalihi and in between. Your input and voices are core to our mission so a big thank you to all of our February attendees. If you have not had the chance to attend yet visit our google calendar for updates on a workshop near you! We have three more events planned for the end of the month. All welcome!

We had 11 undergraduate students from Kapi'olani Community College as well as one of our CERENE Team partner Graduate Student alumni (Cuong Tran) present at the Continuums of Service Conference (COS). COS is dedicated to supporting a more resilient, sustainable, equitable and just future through active service learning and community engagement. Our students are the perfect example of this! Congrats again Resilience Corps Leaders, KSSL and STEM students: Narfe von Semkov, Shawna Takaki, Sean Priester, Christopher Pascua, James Lee, Kaua Kalaiwa'a, Emma Ho, Joshua Forrest, Tristan David, Iwalani Clayton and Jenny Brown! As winter comes to a close, spring emerges, and weather advisories sweeping through the islands finally begin to clear. The importance of sustainable resilience has made itself clear.
