STATE ASSESSMENT

State testing is coming up and with that a few reminders:

- Make sure your child gets adequate amount of sleep

- Make sure they eat a good breafast

- Try to schedule appointments and early dismissals after our testing period if possible

- Remind them to try their best

From the Librarian

A HUGE thank you for all that came and supported your child on Read Across Miller day! I hope to continue this as a yearly tradition. A BIG thanks to all the community members that also came and read with Miller students!

So far we’ve had 16,197 books checked out for the year. Huge thanks to the Board of Education who gave us $15,000 to help replace and update the books in the library. Ask your child about the new books being added! We have received part of the order and books are being put out as soon as they are processed.

COUNSELORS CORNER

Counseling this month will be preparing and reviewing testing strategies for our state testing and the feelings that come along with it. We will also begin diving into careers and exploration of our interests in connection to future career paths.
