Wow! This has been quite a year! Throughout the ever changing plans of full remote, hybrid, back to remote, back to hybrid, and to full day in-person learning the constant has been the unwavering and overwhelming support that you have given to the staff at Salt Creek and Stella May Swartz! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you have done to support your children and the staff of District 48! Have a wonderful summer! See you in August!

Registration for the 2021-2022 school year is under way! Packets have been mailed to all district families with directions on how to register through Skyward for next year.

• Early bird fee of $25 off (each child) ends June 10th
• Items can be returned by mail, blue drop box, or by appointment only.
• Payments can be made on epay (saltcreek48.org), check or cash (exact only no change)

If you are not returning to the District, please contact the office and let us know.

Preschool registration is open! If you have a child that is eligible for preschool, aged 3-5, please contact the office to set up a preschool screening and to start the registration progress.

If your child is missing his/her stylus or charger, there will be a fee to replace the item. Fees are due by June 4th. You will receive an email if your child is missing one of these items.

Report cards will be sent home with in person students today, Friday, June 4th. Included will be MAP data and aimswebPlus data (for kindergarten-2nd grade). Our eLearner report cards were distributed during supply drop off on the 4th.

District 48's Summer U is open for registration. Please see the flyer below for more information. In addition, Oakbrook Terrace Park District will be providing an extended day for families who need it. The flyer is also below!

We will be having a two week kindergarten readiness learning opportunity this summer! Any District 48 student that will be in kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year can attend! The camp will be held at Salt Creek Primary School, so students will be able to familiarize themselves with their new school! Meal pick-up at Albright Middle School will continue this summer! Any District 48 family can pick up 5 days worth of meals (breakfast and lunch) at Albright Middle School at Door 2 on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM-11:00AM.

Anyway's

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Anyway's dine out. Dine outs were one of our few ways to fundraise this year and we appreciate the support of all of our district families and staff!

FTC would like to thank all of our district families for the continued support this year. Whether you purchased from one of our fundraisers, ate at one of our dine-outs, or purchased one or several of Holly Sloan's custom masks, thank you. This was a crazy year, but we were still able to fund several teacher requests, provide for Teacher Appreciation Week, and aid in funding the new climbing wall at Swartz!! We hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing summer and we look forward to seeing you in person in the fall!!!
