What a great fall semester it has been! Our students have been excelling in the classroom and in many extracurricular activities, and we couldn’t be more proud of them. We also know that their accomplishments are possible because of our families and community.


As we head into the holidays, keep in mind the importance of student attendance. Our attendance for all FISD campuses combined is at 93%. Please remember that every school day and every class are important for their individual academic growth. When you miss school, you miss out.

Floresville ISD Students and Teacher of the Month

Floresville Middle School 8th-grade students Danica Bravo and John Alvarez are FISD's Students of the Month. Mrs. Maria Krichko, FMS Math teacher, was named FISD's Teacher of the Month. They were all recognized for their accomplishments at the Board of Trustees regular meeting on Monday, November 13. Congratulations to all three of them! Well deserved!

FNE Dual Language classes celebrated Día de los Muertos with an ofrenda to honor loved ones, guest readers, and treats!

Jaguar Volleyball

The Jaguars earned the title of Regional Quarterfinals Champions in the playoffs. Congrats on a great season!

FSE celebrated its first annual Fall Festival! The kids even got to present their letters to Santa and take photos with him!

Six FMS student-athletes competed in the Cross Country State Championships! Kayden Cypert won 1st place!

FFA Broadcasting won the Area VII LDE competition and is advancing to State! Congrats to Halle, Vince, and Erisa!

Pre-K students put on a show on Halloween! They had a costume parade and enjoyed lunch with their families.

FSE students celebrated the day with straw rockets, STEM center, and a paper chain challenge. So much fun!

Parent Advisory Meeting

The Social Services Department will host a Parent Advisory Meeting via Google Meets on Nov. 28 from 5 - 6 p.m. The education topic is "engaging with your child" and the guest speaker will be FNE's Mr. Roy Navarro, LMSW. Families are encouraged to register here!
