FARM Haiti
Remembering Ed Anderson After 10 Years
Legacy Center Campaign
September 2021 will mark ten years since my late husband Ed's passing. I've always wanted to do something special to honor his life. One of Ed's passions was farming, and I hope to pass this skill and passion to others through The Legacy Center.
F.A.R.M. Haiti is growing its training capabilities by building a training center on a section of land that is near the current site. The 3,000 sq. ft. training center will have dorm rooms, bathrooms, a large classroom, a full kitchen, and a large outdoor demonstration plot. Local farmers, agronomists, and others who visit the The Legacy Center will receive both classroom training and outdoor hands-on experience in the field. They will be taught Farming God's Way method, which increases efficiency and productivity in crop production.
F.A.R.M. Haiti is in the approval process of receiving a grant from the Gaylord Rotary Club for $30,000. To fully fund construction, an additional $25,000 is needed by July 1st.
