School Library Month
School libraries are vital to the educational process in providing equitable literacy experiences for all students. School librarians are linked to improved standardized test scores. They are the cornerstone of our libraries in ensuring the books are updated and what our students need to increase literacy in our schools. Let's continue to encourage our students to utilize our libraries daily!
We are approaching the finish line!
Your schools will communicate the dates and testing procedures as we prepare our students for state testing. There is also a schedule for you to see towards the end of this newsletter. We now have a District Electronics Testing Agreement sheet that teachers and students will sign. Students are prohibited from having electronic devices during testing, which denotes a testing violation. This includes AirPods, smartwatches, phones, etc. Please make sure that your child understands the seriousness of this state law. This is the time for our students to showcase everything they have learned, and we want them to do their best.
Please remember to monitor your student's grades and attendance using Parent Portal.
