Greetings Jaguar Community,

In a blink of an eye, we are finalizing our first six weeks of the 23-24 school year. I want to take some time to give a shout out to all those students and parents who are already extending their learning experience beyond the classroom: our chess team, our safety patrol, our cheerleaders, and our art club, Pinceles. I also want to recognize our outstanding teachers and staff for the wonderful lessons and their commitment to keeping Jackson as a top-rated school. We had special visitors in the month of September, including our interim Superintendent, Dr. Rosalba de Hoyos and a story teller from Mexico City, who came to read to our top Dual Language AR readers!

The month of October is a fun-filled time of the year with many activities, better weather, and opportunities to continue growing as a school community.

Our biggest event of the school year is coming up on the 21st of this month...The Jackson Jubilee. We ask that you reach out the PTO to volunteer to make this event a grand success. We also ask that you take the time to review our monthly calendar of events and special dates to stay informed about all of the activities and celebrations.

Saludos Comunidad Jaguar,

En un abrir y cerrar de ojos, estamos finalizando nuestras primeras seis semanas del año escolar 23-24. Quiero tomarme un tiempo para felicitar a todos aquellos estudiantes y padres que ya están extendiendo su experiencia de aprendizaje más allá del aula: nuestro equipo de ajedrez, nuestra patrulla de seguridad, nuestras porristas y nuestro club de arte, Pinceles. También quiero reconocer a nuestros destacados maestros y personal por las maravillosas lecciones y su compromiso de mantener a Jackson como una escuela de primera categoría. Tuvimos visitas especiales en el mes de septiembre, incluyendo a nuestra Superintendente interina, la Dra. Rosalba de Hoyos y un narrador de historias de la Ciudad de México, ¡que vino a leer a nuestros principales lectores de AR del programa Dual!

El mes de octubre es una época del año llena de diversión con muchas actividades, mejor clima y oportunidades para seguir creciendo como comunidad escolar.

Nuestro evento más grande del año escolar se acerca el 21 de este mes ... El Jubileo de Jackson. Lo invitamos a que se comunique con el PTO para ofrecerse como voluntario para que este evento sea un gran éxito. También le pedimos que se tome el tiempo de revisar nuestro calendario mensual de eventos y fechas especiales para mantenerse informado sobre todas las actividades y celebraciones. Una vez mas le agradecemos por su apoyo!
