Fullerton Weekly Update

The Fullerton staff would like to send a special thank you to our students and their familes for contributing to a positive first week of school. While this has not been an ordinary start of a school year the flexibility and patience displayed by our entire school community during this Remote Learning journey has not gone unnoticed we appreciate it. It is unfortunate that we are not able to meet our students in-person as we would normally do to start the year bu we do look forward to getting to know them and begin to meet their academic and social/emotional needs.

Please use this link, Remote Learning Expectations , to familiarize yourself and your child on our expectations in Remote Learning. Please pay special attention to student school hours, the various communication tools we have for parents, attendance guidelines, academic expectations and how students will be assessed.

If your child's Chromebook is experiencing issues we have found in most instances a Hard Reset will fix whatever issue your student's Chromebook is undergoing. Please use this video which will provide you the steps to perform a Hard Reset to the Chromebook. If after conducting the Hard Reset please have your child reach out to their teacher who will provide them with the next steps in the process.

We are in the process of setting up a Virtual Curriculum Night for parents to learn about their child's teacher and their expectations for the 2020-2021 school year. Please be on the look out for this forthcoming information.

Addison School District 4 will be providing five days' worth of meals every Wednesday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Fullerton from Door 1. Since meals will be provided through the National Lunch Program - meals will only be distributed to ASD4 students.. Parents may pick-up meals for students but will need to provide their students name and ID number. Food menus will be posted on the district website each month. We are currently accepting fifth grade students for the ASD4 beginning band/orchestra program for the 2020-2021 school year.
