All 8th graders and students who are not returning to Orchard Gardens next year must return their chromebook to Orchard Gardens by June 17th. If they are not returned they will be disabled. For all other students, families have two options:

• Keep their chromebook for the summer. Please sign the contract linked below if you wish to have your child keep their chromebook for the summer.
• Return their chromebook to Orchard Gardens and get it back when school starts in September. This is a good option if you are concerned about keeping the chromebook safe throughout the summer.

As a reminder, students only receive 1 touchscreen chromebook every 4 years, so it is very important that they practice good habits to keep it safe. We understand that occasionally accidents happen and chromebooks need to be repaired, but students should never eat or drink near their chromebook. Damage due to liquid spills will not be repaired and your child will only be given an older device to use.

Our annual spring art show will take place on Tuesday, June 15th at 8:30AM. The show will be streamed on YouTube for families and students to view from the safety of their home/classroom. BPS continues to have a no visitor policy, so we will not have any guests in the building for the show. Thank you for understanding, and we really hope you can join us on YouTube!

The first day of school is September 9th, 2021. Please make sure to plan any summer travel so that you are back in time for the start of school!
