Test to Return and COVID Response Update from Chancellor Ferebee
All students and staff are required to submit a COVID-19 rapid antigen test result on Sunday, February 27 by 9:00pm in order to return to school on Monday, February 28. Test kits will be sent home with students in backpack mail this week. Families will upload test results on the DCPS Reopen Strong website.
As we continue to learn about the COVID-19 virus, especially the omicron variant, DC Health has updated its guidance for schools to follow in limiting the spread of COVID-19 in our buildings and among our community.
We are working through the steps to implement further updates following the February break, and you will hear more from us directly on the additional adjustments that will be made. For now, our current guidance remains in effect.
I invite you to join us for our next townhall on Monday, February 14 at 5:00 pm to discuss our health and safety updates.
