Exciting update - (With parent/guardian permission) Cunningham will be screening ALL 3rd - 5th graders for Gifted & Talented this fall. If you haven't already, we need all parents/guardians to fill out this permission form.

FAQs

• Why are we doing this? To ensure equity in our screening process.
• What is the screener? An online test called the CogAT, measuring 3 areas - Verbal (linguistic reasoning), Quantitative (mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills) and NonVerbal (visual/spatial reasoning)
• What if my student already is in the GT program? Their qualification doesn't change, we will screen them again just to update their records with more recent scores.
• When will the testing take place? During the month of October
• When we will have the results of the screener? By early November
