RES Weekly Buzz

This week we read an article titled, "How To Be. A Modern Parent," by Perry Klass, M.D. and Lisa Damour. The title alone certainly piqued our interest as did the entire article. Here is our take away.
"We all want to be the best parents we can be for our children, but there is often conflicting advice on how to raise a kid who is confident, kind and successful. And every aspect of being a parent has been more complicated and more fraught during the pandemic, with parents managing complex new assignments and anxious new decisions, all while handling the regular questions that come up in daily life with the children we love. Throughout the circus act of parenting, it’s important to focus on balancing priorities, juggling responsibilities and quickly flipping between the needs of your children, other family members and yourself."
Thank you for supporting the school and most importantly your children this year. It truly does take a village to raise confident, kind, happy and respectful kids and we appreciate your dedication to this. Your children are wonderful and our joy is in seeing their daily successes and smiles at RES. Thank you for what you do for them each and every day.
Happy Weekend,
