Varsity Softball
Dryden split the pair against Caseville in their final regular season home game. They won game one 11- 5 and lost game two 12-5.
Game one: Dryden won 11- 5 in 6 innings. Addie Tresnak was the winning pitcher with 6 innings pitched. She had 10 strikeouts and gave up 3 walks, 5 hits, and 5 runs. Offensively, Addie Tresnak had a single and a double; Brianna Snavely had two doubles, a triple, and an RBI; Rilynn Lindsay had a homerun and an RBI; Lola Abromaitis and Madison Maday had 2 singles each; Mikayla Fleming had a single and an RBI. Defensively, Brianna Snavely, Lola Abromaitis, Addie Tresnak, Madison Maday, and Rilynn Lindsay made strong plays.
Game two: Dryden lost 5-12 in 5 innings. Addie Tresnak took the loss with .5 innings pitched. She gave up 3 walks, 2 boots, and 6 runs. Lola Abromaitis pitched 4.5 innings and had 7 strikeouts. She gave up 6 walks, 3 hits, and 6 runs. Offensively, Addie Tresnak had 2 singles and an RBI; Brianna Snavely, Rilynn Lindsay, Lola Abromaitis, Mallory Barker, and Jade Insley each had a single; Madison Maday had a single, a double, and an RBI; Mercedes West had a SAC. Defensively, Mercedes West, Madison Maday, Addie Tresnak, Rilynn Lindsay, Lola Abromaitis, and Mikayla Fleming added to Dryden's cause.
Dryden played and lost a single game at Oakland Christian on Tuesday, May 23rd by a score of 17-2. Rilynn Lindsay was the losing pitcher. She had 4 innings pitched and 6 strikeouts. She gave up 12 walks, 2 hits, and 17 runs. Offensively, Jade Insley had 2 singles and an RBI; Brianna Snavely had a single; Lola Abromaitis had a SAC and an RBI; Rilynn Lindsay had a stolen base. Defensively, Brianna Snavely, Lola Abromaitis, and Mallory Barker made strong plays.
Varsity Boys Track
In Regionals on May 20th, the Boys Varsity got 7th place, with 44 points. In the 100M, Michael Stickler ran 12.06, and Trenton Carroll 13.86, both unranked. Michael Stickler ran the 200M in 25.08, and Sebastian Rager completed it in 30.81, both unranked. In the 400M, Jackson Spencer ran 1:03.09, earning him 13th place. Tito Garcia ran the 400M in 1:08.62, giving him a PR and 19th place. The 800M resulted in 8th and 14th place for Dryden boys, with Connor Wolff running 2:27.92 and Sean Finnigan running 2:42.69. Aiden Fitchett ran the mile in 4:44.97 earning 3rd and was qualified!
Noah Hall ran a mile in 5:31.85, giving him 10th and a PR. Aiden Fitchett ran two miles in a flat eleven minutes and six seconds, giving him 4th. Logan Romain got 7th place due to his time of 12:13.15. The 110M Hurdles resulted in Matthew Hickmott getting 4th in 20.94, and Brenden Peter getting 5th and a PR in 21.62. Matthew Hickmott and Brenden Peter got 6th and 7th place, 50.39 and 50.66. Trenton Carroll, Tito Garcia, Nathan Baughman, and Michael Stickler got 9th collectively in 54.85 in the 4x100 Relay. Trenton Carroll, Sebastian Rager, Nathan Baughman, and Brenden Peter ran the 4x200, earning 8th in 1:58.99.
The 4x400 participants, Sean Finnigan, Nick Abromaitis, Connor Wolff, and Jackson Spencer ran it 4:33.82, accomplishing 8th place. In the 4x800, Jackson Spencer, Sean Finnigan, Noah Hall, and Connor Wolff got 5th in 10:13.84. In Shot Put, Cody Jackson got 2nd and qualified after throwing 37’5.75” and Michael Hickmott got 11th, with a distance of 31’3” Cody Jackson and Michael Hickmott threw discus and got 7th and 8th place, with distances of 92’11” (a PR) and 90’8” In Long Jump, Michael Stickler 9th with a length of 15’9”.
Varsity Girls Soccer

On Monday, May 22nd, the Dryden/ Imlay City Varsity Girls Soccer team played at Croswell-Lexington High School. Dryden/ Imlay City won the game against Cros-Lex, 3-0. Jessica Peters contributed three goals. Kierstyn Stankevich earned one assist.
Great job, girls!
The next Varsity Girls Soccer game will be held at North Branch High School at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, May 30th, against Marysville High School for the district semi-finals.

Dryden Basketball Skills Camp
Coach Cramer is a former overseas pro and college athlete. He has coached at the high school and junior high level in the U.S. and in Germany. He trains thousands of athletes each year from throughout the country. He is known for his intensity and detailed instruction.
