The goal of AVID at PHS is to support students in achieving college readiness and preparedness while developing a strong sense of community through family and togetherness. Click Here for more information and the application.

The goal as an Academic Tutor is to provide students with improved communication and organizational skills in addition to increased mastery of academic content area skills. Under the supervision of a classroom teacher, tutors will provide individual or small group facilitation designed to increase students’ ability to think, read, write and communicate critically.

CTE Pathways is an opportunity for students to get real world, hands on experience in a career area that interests them and that connects to their core academics. NHS Peer Tutoring
Students who need help with their classes can sign up for tutoring with NHS student volunteers on Monday & Wednesday afternoons from 3:45 - 4:30pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Titan Center (Room K-16).
