Coloma Junior High

I know that this past week has created unanticipated challenges for many families. As a Junior High Staff we hope that this newsletter finds all of our Comets safe and healthy. There have been many developments over the past week in regards to how we live and educate our students.

Our District has created a page within our website that contains all of the communication regarding the Mandated Closure. We will continue to monitor developments from the State of Michigan and the Department of Education and share information with our families as it becomes available.

All Building level offices closed on Friday, March 20th. If you need to contact the district, please call 269-468-2424 and leave a message. The district office will be handling all requests via appointment.

We miss our kids and would love to see their smiling faces. Our staff has created a Virtual Spirit Week for everyone to participate in. Send us your pictures via Google Classroom or Facebook.

Teachers will continue to provide online learning opportunities via e-mail and google classroom. The goal of the assignments is to continue the routine and structure of learning and to maintain current levels of learning. Teachers will continue to review and assess all of the work that is completed. If internet connection is an issue, please have your child continue their independent reading.
