Teacher Appreciation Month

Please join us in celebrating some of the hardest working, most caring teachers around. Each day in May we will celebrate a Buchanan High School Teacher and honor their dedication to their students and school community. I couldn't ask to be a part of a more cohesive, loving, comical bunch of teachers and I am so proud to be a part of this BUCK FAMILY!

Mrs. Neal is so easy to talk to. She’s taught me the most about life, and she always encourages us students to do better.

Mrs. Neal's English class was also one of my favorite classes to have this year. She was a very nice and understanding, I would definitely have her class again if I could.

Neal- She's very persistent, if someone needs help on something and/or they try to give up on doing something she works with them and pushes them to accomplish what would've been their feat.

Hi Mrs. Neal! I am truly grateful for all of the writing advice and help you had given to me during my time in class with you this year. You are such an awesome person and you never failed to brighten up my day every time I was in your class!

Mrs. Neal I love her taste in music and i really like how she makes english so fun and how she pushes me to do better

Mrs. Neal- Encourages everyone in her class to learn and improve their skills.

Mrs. Neal: I love her in all aspects. She is supportive, funny, and you can tell she loves her job and truly cares. She has done so much for our class even before the whole pandemic.

Mrs. Neal. I wish I knew Mrs. Neal all throughout high school. She was my NHS advisor, but I didn’t really get to know her until I was in Honors Senior English. That class has been my favorite I’ve taken all throughout high school. Mrs. Neal always makes me feel so cared for and she made me feel smart and like I would be able to do anything I wanted to. I know that sounds very cheesy, but it’s true. Every comment or critique she ever gave on my work, I took very seriously. Mrs. Neal is so good at what she does, not just at teaching, but at doing what she teaches, writing, editing, reading. Her class sometimes had a lot of work but it all felt quite necessary and never like busy work. This class has made me feel more ready for life after graduation than any of my college classes. I hope as many people as possible decide to take English at the high school and not the college, it’s one of the best choices I’ve ever made. I’m going to miss Mrs. Neal so much.

Mrs. Neal, she is like a built in school best friend You can always get a laugh out of Mrs. Neal.

Mrs. Neal always knows ALL of the rides at Disney and can describe them with great detail which is pretty impressive if you ask me.

Mrs. Neal- I like when someone does something funny in class and she laughs with us!

I like Mrs. Neal because she is always hands on with all of her students she makes sure that everyone knows what they are doing and that they understand everything and she is very sweet and caring

Mrs.Neal, I like how she doesn’t give any homework and she always finds a way to relate to her students!
