Principal Message
Lot of information and sign up links in today's newletter! Thanks for your attention to all this important information.
~ Bond Referendum: Thank you to everyone who voted in this week's election!
~ Conference Sign Up: Conferences are coming...November 14, 16, and 20. Here is the link to sign up for fall conferences. AND, our amazing PTO provides meals for teachers for evening conferences, and they need your help. Please use this link to sign up to suppport meals for teachers. Door #1 (office door) and Door #3 (parking lot door) will be open, so please use those two doors when you come for conferences.
~ Book Fair: We will also be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair during these evening conference nights, too, so be looking for that information to be coming as well. The hours of the book fair will be 3:00-7:30 each night of conferences. The PTO needs volunteers to help with the book fair! This is a really fun chance to volunteer...here is the sign up link to help!
~ Leadership Job Sign Up at Conferences: Be looking for the Leadership Job sign up table outside the media center when you come for conferences. This will be a chance for students to sign up for building wide leadership jobs, including classroom mentors.
We are also looking for 2-4 students in grades 3, 4, or 5 who would be interested in joining the Lighthouse Team. This team will meet 4 times during the year and will help make decisions about how to make our school the very best place it can be! That application will also be available at the sign up table at conferences.
~ No School on Friday, November 10th. This is a day that teachers use to prepare for fall conferences. And as a reminder, there is no school at the elementary on Tuesday, November 21 through Friday, November 24 for the Thanksgiving break. School will resume on Monday, November 27.
~ PTO Meeting: Due to a variety of scheduling conficts, we will NOT be holding a November PTO meeting. The next meeting will be at 6:00pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
As always, thank you for your support--it matters!
