Greetings FWAFA Family,
What a JOY it was to experience Joy in the Journey this past weekend. Just want to give a BIG Shout-Out to students, teachers, and families who worked tirelessly to prepare for this unique, one-of-a-kind show. I was totally blown away and awe-struck throughout. Give yourself a big FWAFA round of applause.
To stay in the holiday groove, we have more performances to share with you this week and next week. Be sure to check out everything that is happening below.
Have a magnificently Magical Week!

SGT Winter Concert - Lumine!
A Holiday Concert and Celebration of the 20th-Anniversary of “Snow Angel”
Dec 15 | 7PM
Ticket Link: https://bit.ly/SGTlumine
Join Singing Girls of Texas for a spectacular holiday event celebrating the light of the season with Lumine! at Arlington Heights United Methodist Church in Fort Worth.
Come and be joyfully surrounded by familiar holiday tunes with new twists, cry from laughter at silly vignettes of Christmas favorites, and be enveloped in the story telling of three angels and their duties on earth during the winter months as we celebrate the 20th-anniversary of Sarah Quartel’s masterwork, “Snow Angel”.
Through the evening, we hope to remind you of all the joys of the holiday season and guide you in the words of one of the angels: “Once upon a time I told you I couldn’t see my wings. Not because they weren’t there, but because in seeking light I had forgotten how to give it. The energy of generosity, of compassion, of love, is circular. Inside we know no differently. Look and see. Hear and listen. Touch and feel. Each of us, inside, a child in the garden. A flower pushing through the pavement. An angel in the snow. Go.”

We need your help. We have spent 4 months trying to find bus drivers to drive for our events, field trips, and performances. We have tried Facebook ads, Indeed, Linked-In, specific education websites, and nothing has materialized. We've had several interviews and just haven't found the right people.
We need your help. Please, if you or someone you know would be willing to drive the busses for our amazing students, we would love to talk to you.
If we can't find someone(s), then we might be in a position to charge for field trips and performances to rent charter busses.
If you know someone, please forward them our HR Specialist, Mica Wolf's email at mica.wolf@artsacademics.org.
The position is as-needed because we don't have a normal bus route. The pay is competitive. If you're willing to be trained, we might be able to help pay for your training.
The details are all below. Please, help us make this happen!
