*The Middle School International Travel Program will resume travel in April 2024!
Come join us in April 2024 as we visit both ancient and modern sites throughout Italy and Greece: Florence, Rome, Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii, Delphi and Athens. To learn more about the trip, head to www.explorica.com/Barako-5152 . In April 2025 we head to London & France where we will see both London and Paris landmarks as well as Normandy, St. Malo, explore the Loire Valley and end the trip with a visit to Chartres and a Seine River cruise. To learn more about this trip, head to http://www.explorica.com/Barako-3781. Be sure to attend the May 10th meeting at Wamsutta Middle School library at 6 pm to learn more about these trips. Students who are in grades 6-8 at the time of trip are welcome to join us (parents can register to join us too!). Preliminary questions can be addressed to the Program Coordinator, Doreen Barako: dbarako@attleboroschools.com.
*Grade 8 Message
Earlier this week, some grade 8 students (and families) were sent an email regarding a course request appeal opportunity. This email was only sent to those who indicated an interest in taking an honors course in grade 9 but did not receive a recommendation for one. This is a reminder that the deadline to submit an appeal is this Sunday. Please see that email for more details. If you originally requested an honors class and are no longer interested, no action needs to be taken.
Have a great weekend!
