Clubhouse is in full swing at Meridian Elementary! Clubhouse is an opportunity for students to come play board games with their grade level peers during lunch recess while being supervised by our School Counselor, Mr. Snell. Each grade level has one day per week that is their Clubhouse day. Kinders and 2nd Graders are on Mondays, 4th and 5th Graders are on Wednesdays, and 1st and 3rd Graders are on Fridays. Clubhouse is a great way for students to make new friends and practice social skills with their peers!

Make sure to keep up with bus information.

1.) Login to PowerSchool to see your bus route information.

2.) Install the Traversa Ride 360 app from any app store on android or apple. This is the best way to get up to date information about bussing.

Did you know that Fridays are spirit days? This is your chance to wear spirit wear like school t-shirts or school colors. Our colors are blue and yellow. Let's show our trailblazer pride.

PTO will meet this Thursday at 5:00. PTO is a great way for parents to get involved with their children's school. Students benefit both behaviorally and academically when their parents are involved in PTO. It is a great way to get to know other families and help out the school. It is also a chance to have a voice in the school community.

Having good hygiene habits involves more than just hand-washing. Teaching your kids to have a healthy hygiene routine when they’re young can create habits that last throughout their lives.

• wash hair two or three times per week
  
• Bath or shower daily
• Use a washcloth and soap to wash
• Brush teeth twice a day
• Wash hands before and after meals

Directions: Log onto Power school, on the left, click on “School Information”, scroll to the bottom and click on “School Forms”, Under your child’s name click on “Medical”, update “Student Health History” (add information the nurse needs to know then scroll to the bottom, type your name and select “Save Form”, select “Yes” if you are okay with the nurse caring for your child, select “Yes” if you want the nurse to do vision and hearing screenings, select “Yes” if you want your child to receive Acetaminophen/Tylenol at school. If you leave it blank, it translates to “No”.

The community school is always taking donations especially clothing items. They can be dropped off at the community school during school hours.

Our district has partnered with tutor.com. This is a free online tutoring service offered by the district for students in grades 3-12. This service has individualized help for tutoring and homework. Visit the districts website for more information.
