I hope you have all had a wonderful and restful break. Hang on for the next three weeks as this 2nd quarter flies past us. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions or concerns. We have a lot going on at BAS!

Some reminders:

• IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS - All students entering BAS for the first time and returning students must present evidence of immunization compliance with the Johnson County Health and Human Services. Minimum Texas State immunization requirements require yearly updates
see our student handbook. These MUST be turned in to us by December 1st! We are required to report to the state or face an audit.
• FINANCIAL POLICY - When an account becomes two months delinquent the child(ren) will not be admitted to school after the fifth day of the third month unless arrangements for payment have been made and approved by school board - see our student handbook. Please bring your account up to date or make an appointment with the office.

I know we have two fundraisers going on and I'm sorry the timing got off. But we are still offering both. This year’s profits will go to the Student Financial Aid and to much needed projects. This will help students and families who are struggling to pay tuition and help get some things done around the school. Reach out to friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family. Fresh fruit makes a great Christmas gift! Have your students type up a note on your phone about it, including prices, and then send it to your local contacts. Please collect payment when orders are taken. If not possible, that’s okay. We can be flexible on time of payment. However, it must be paid at pick-up.

Order turn in date is Thursday, November 30. Delivery will be around December 12/13th.

We are selling scented pillows! These are adorable and guaranteed to hold their scent for 2 years. Each pillow costs $25 and BAS receives 40% of the profits. We are fundraising for a new upper playground! Donations also accepted. Stop by the office if you'd like to test out the pillow yourself.

Congratulations to our students who participated in the 1st Annual Area Spelling Bee hosted by Burton Adventist Academy. Charleigh Walkowiak, Kian Berrios, Samuel Ralston, Benjamin Word, Jacob Renken & Andrew Saraswat were invited to attend for a spelling bee competition. Each of our students made at least 3 rounds into the bee! JH students made top 8 and Charliegh made top 5! Congratulations! We look forward to competing again next year!

Please join us for our annual Christmas Play on December 13th at 7:00 pm in the BAS Gymnasium. Enjoy a beautiful play acted by our 7/8th graders and sung by our PreK-8th grade choir and discover what a "Crazy, Busy, Peaceful, Holy Night" is really all about. Light refreshments will be served after the program. Please remember we have additional parking in the upper lot behind the shed. Please do not park on any grassy areas. Thank you.
