Sharks get to celebrate meeting the FUNd Run $15,000 benchmark goal by wearing their pajamas to school!

FUND RUN NEWS

THANK YOU to all supporters of today’s Bubble FUNd Run! Students had a blast warming up with 80/20, running, skipping, and walking around the course, and enjoying a treat and entertainment provided by Halau Hula Pono. Thank you to all of today’s volunteers who helped make the day fun and special for our sharks.

There is still time to donate to this important cause – in-person Spanish instruction for Sierra students! Fundraising is nearing $19K of our $35K goal. Help us reach the next school-wide incentive, Sierra Stickers for All, at $20,000.

For reaching the $15K milestone, next Wednesday, 9/28, your kiddos can roll out of bed and enjoy Pajama Day.

Time: Sunset (arrive up to 1 hour early to get food and a seat)

We are looking for musicians amongst our Sierra community to play before our movie nights. For the 10/7 Movie Night, we are honoring Hispanic Heritage Month, so we would be so excited to find someone who can play a style of music that would honor this special month. To ensure compliance with RUSD and the state of California's volunteer policies, parents who wish to volunteer on campus during the school day must have:

RUSD Policy:

• Fingerprinting completed for RUSD specifically. Prior fingerprinting done for any agency or organization other than RUSD will not be accepted. Fingerprinting takes approximately 72 hours to clear.
• Current Tuberculosis Test (TB). TB tests expire every 4 years and must be renewed in order to volunteer. TB Tests take approximately 48-72 hours for results and results must be brought to the office.
