Dear Families,

We hope that you had a restful and enjoyable vacation. As we approach the end of the school year, we would like to remind you of some important updates.

In the coming weeks, we will be having various events and field trips for our students. We encourage you to stay informed by checking the newsletter regularly. This is a great way to keep up-to-date with all the latest news and events happening at the school.

The following 3rd grade students completed a level of Read Live this week during their RTI class:

Students in Rm 24 completed a carousel in small groups in an activating activity for their new unit "The event leading to the American Revolution".

Student groups rotated through 4 posters (each with a question prompt) and writing down what they already knew, wanted to learn about, and expect to see/read during this very engaging unit.

After the carousel we discussed their background knowledge and list of questions.

ATTENTION DES parents and families—this year’s main event is the Dighton Fun Run! Our goal is to raise $28,000 for student life and activities improvement and to strengthen our school community.
