Don't forget that we will return from Winter Break on Wednesday, January 3rd. The kids do not have school on the 2nd. You will see teachers working on the 2nd, so there will be cars in the parking lot. Be sure to plan ahead. If you haven't looked at the FISD calendar, you can view it here. January 15th is also a day off for kids.

Come join us on January 11th to experience all of the different cultures that make us TADLOCK!

If you would like to create a display about a particular country, region or state, please fill out the bottom portion of this sheet and return it to the office. We would love to have parents and kids help us represent all the places our families are from in some way that night!

WIN a PRIZE by helping us collect new and unused items for our Children’s Hospital supply drive, which will run until Friday December 15. Any student who brings in 3 ITEMS will receive a PRIZE as a thank you for helping to collect items. Please turn in your items to Lucy in the front office and get your PRIZE!! (Only one prize per student) Items we are collecting are the following:

1. Crayons

2. Coloring books

3. Activity pads

4. Colored pencils

5. Stickers all kinds, designs, characters, boys and girls

6. Bubbles

All Aboard...the Polar Express!

Tickets please, tickets! You can ride for free and join the fun on the Polar Express!

DEPARTURE: Friday, 15th of December 2017

BOARDING: 8:20 am, 9:10 am, 10 am, 11:30 am, 12:20 pm and 1:10 pm

STATION: Tadlock Elementary

ATTIRE: Pajamas

Join us for a Polar Express celebration. We need a lot of volunteers to help make this day memorable for our kids.

All parties will be held in the gym during the following times:

• Kindergarten - 11:30-12:15

• First Grade - 12:20-1:05

• Second Grade - 1:10-1:55

• Third Grade - 8:20-9:05

• Fourth Grade - 9:10-9:55

• Fifth Grade - 10:00-10:45

Volunteer sign-ups will be posted on the PTA website. We will need parents to help run stations and rotate with groups of kids in the gym. Space will be limited in the gym, so parents who want to attend are highly encouraged to volunteer to help. Please be prepared to sign in at the office with your driver's license. We will need time and space to transition the kids in and out of the gym, so thanks in advance to those not planning on helping for patiently waiting until we are ready. Grandparents can volunteer as well! Parents, this is a day that store bought treats can be sent to school if you would like to send goodies to your child's class.

And remember... kids can wear pajamas for this special day!
