Dear Pleasant Run Families:

Our students were super excited to return to school and immediately got back into our normal routine. It is hard to believe that we are heading into our final quarter of the 18/19 school year.

Please remember that Term 3 report cards were sent home with students prior to break. Be sure to ask your student for this important document. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to your student's teacher.

I wanted to make sure you knew that we now have a new app and website! The purpose of the app and website is to provide regular updates through the live feed, district news, and

district events sections as well as other important district information. The app includes easy access to the weekly breakfast and lunch menu, staff contacts, district documents, bullying and safety reporting form, and much much more. The Warren app can be downloaded at the Apple and Android App Store. Stay informed and download the app today. The district website is www.warren.k12.in.us.

Joining the PTA allows you to meet some great people. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, to build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone.

The mission of the Pleasant Run Elementary PTA is to act in the interest of the children, to encourage understanding and cooperation between parents and teachers, and to promote programs that benefit the success of children’s learning. The Pleasant Run PTA supports education through active participation and advocacy.

Pleasant Run Elementary has a very active and supportive PTA. We sponsor many fun events throughout the school year. We also provide volunteers for many school events as well as provide support for school programs such as Super Reader, Breakfast with Santa and the annual fund raiser. Please join us for a PTA meeting to see what we’re all about.
