Mart Varsity Cheerleaders are more than glitter and bows. Academically, these cheerleaders embark in honors courses on top of dual credits, on top of extracurricular activities, in whole reaching every goal they set for themselves. They explain to others that when your happiness and purpose in life does not depend on your sport, it'll help you be more in tune with your needs as a whole person, which will translate into being a better athlete / student and knowing what you need to be your best in everything they do. These cheerleaders take their roles at Mart ISD seriously and respect talent, passion, and devotion to upholding Mart tradition. We are not just a group of girls who cheer at varsity football games, we are part of a greater purpose and proud to be a Mart Panther.

MHS Varsity Cheerleaders: Senior Marisela Blood, Senior McKenzie Stafford, Junior Faith Hall, Junior Emilee Powell, Junior Macaria Brown, Sophomore Addyson Pechacek, Sophomore Saydi Durbin, Sophomore Alissa Mayfield, Freshman Kami Garrett, Freshman Aleah Williams, Freshman Shelby Hall.

Mart ISD was in the dark for about 3 hours Thursday morning due to storms in the area. The district's teachers and students didn't miss a beat. The cafeteria employees went to "Plan B" and still made sure every kid was fed. Best of all, the community received much needed rain!
