Getting ready for kickoff!
The AHS Foodball Leadership Team invites everyone to take part in the 43rd Annual Foodball in support of area food banks. There are 10 days of events in Aberdeen and Hoquiam beginning tomorrow, Nov. 3, and concluding with the weigh-in at 5:30 p.m. Nov.13 at the Grays Harbor PUD when the total amount raised will be announced.
Here's the Lineup:
FRIDAY, NOV. 3
- Aberdeen's Got Talent
6 p.m.
Open to all ages and talents.
Registration forms are available at each of our schools. - This is your chance to reveal your hidden talents -- or just come on out and enjoy the talent on display in the Auditorium at Aberdeen High School and support Foodball with your $5 entry fee.
SATURDAY, NOV. 4
- Aberdeen Late Night is a family-friendly event for all ages
6-10 p.m. at Aberdeen High School
There will be games, arts and crafts, open gym (volleyball and basketball) karaoke, movie rooms, food and lots more.
Your $5 entry fee supports Foodball.
SUNDAY, NOV. 5
- Aberdeen Community Blitz, starts at 10 a.m.
MONDAY, NOV. 6
- Community Dodgeball
Sam Benn Gym, 5 pm
Dodgeball is open to anyone 6th Grade or older. Teams of 5 can participate in a double elimination tournament. Registration forms are available at Miller Junior High School and at AHS. Also open to staff teams. Insurance forms are required.

TUESDAY, NOV. 7
- Westside Pizza Takeover
1420 Sumner Ave., 5-8 pm
Get your slice of the Foodball spirit and contribute at the same time when AHS students takeover Westside Pizza.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 8
- Muscle Beach Volleyball
Sam Benn Gym, 6 p.m.
Admission $5
THURSDAY, NOV. 9
- AHS Mazatlan Takeover
720 W. Wishkah, 4-7 p.m.
The annual Aberdeen takeover of Mazatlan is like a class reunion.
- Aberdeen & Hoquiam Movie Night
Settle in for a showing of Top Gun: Maverick.
Starts at 7 p.m. Admission $5
FRIDAY, NOV. 10
- AHS Staff vs. Students Basketball Game
This is a new event that should be fun for players both young and old -- and spectators!
Noon at Sam Benn Gym / Admission $5
SATURDAY, NOV. 11
- AHS Community Blitz
Students start fanning out at 10 a.m. - Glow Bowl
Come on down to Rainier Lanes for some late-night bowling -- and more! -- with your friends and family.
9-11 p.m. / $20 per person
SUNDAY, NOV. 12
- Seahawks Game Day Buffet & Auction
This popular event is making its return to the Foodball lineup, having been sidelined since 2019.
Come watch the Seahawks vs. Commanders game and take part in the live auction of items during time outs, between quarters and at halftime.
Yes! There will be Hawks' tickets up for bid.
1 p.m. at AHS / Admission $10
Organizers are still accepting donations of auction items. Contact the Foodball adviser, Ashley Kohlmeier, at akohlmeier@asd5.org if you are able to contribute.

- Weigh In
The fundraiser concludes at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Grays Harbor PUD where the total amount collected will be announced.

Here's how you can support Foodball
Cash or Check Donations
Bring cash or check donations to the comptroller at Aberdeen High School, donate when students are blitzing door-to-door or donate when students are manning storefronts.
Community blitzes start at 10 a.m. and are planned for Sunday, Nov. 5, and Saturday, Nov. 11.
Students will canvass storefronts again this year at Safeway, Swanson's and Bi-Mart. Make checks out to Aberdeen Foodball.
Online via RevTrack
RevTrack is the ASD5 online payment system. You can find the RevTrack button on the district website at www.asd5.org.
Online via GoFan
GoFan is the district's online ticket sales platform and it's also set up to accept Foodball donations. You can donate and buy tickets in advance to the various Foodball events here or by using the QR code to the left.
The deadline to donate is Monday, Nov. 13. Thank you for supporting Foodball!
