Good Evening Yowell Families,

This is Mrs. Fiscus with your weekly update. I have the best news for all of us... there isn't a snowflake in the 10 day forecast. We finally get to get back in the swing of things together! Here is a little nugget for you, CCPS has an app. I would suggest downloading the app from the app store. You can add Yowell; if you have older children, you can add middle and high schools. Once you select the school you can see the lunch menu, daily events, social media feed and so much more. Based on my unscientific data.... school cancelation notifications will show up on your phone before the robo call! You'll know first! But seriously the app is a quick way to access all things CCPS without navigating the website.

This week we will practice our high level drill. During the drill, the office will not be able to answer the door or phones. Please be patient as we practice the procedures of this drill.

Putting on a musical is very expensive so we appreciate all of the help we can get!

In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.

We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.

We are happy to have a School Resource Officer (SRO) this year at Yowell. You can contact Deputy Mack with any concerns you have with school safety or anything that would be related to criminal activity.
