Principal's Message
Good Morning GREEN Educating Partners,
It is super important that you complete the Federal Impact Aid Parent survey. Please click HERE to complete the electronic survey. If you have difficulties completing it electronically, a copy was sent to you on Wednesday, October 12. The form is required from ALL students. Thank you for your time devoted to completing every field highlighted in yellow color.
Parents/guardians, please join us on October 20, 2022; a Parent Academy Night (PAN) will take place. Our outstanding counselors will provide information about Parent Connect and Parent Square. These are two electronic manners to access or receive information about your student.
The topics will be Navigating Parent Connect & Parent Square. The PAN will take place in the GREEN cafeteria.
Please bring your child and their Chromebook for this event.
5:30 - 6:00 English Session
6:00 - 6:30 Spanish Session
All parents/guardians who come to the meeting will receive a "Non-Uniform Dress Day" wristband that your student may use the following school day. We hope your student encourages you to attend the meeting to earn this excellent wristband incentive; refreshments will be available.
Our students participated in Student Self-Reflection Time about keeping safe and following school rules. We appreciate our students that follow the rules and are trying their best in academic achievement; thank you!
Families, please support our school by talking to your students about avoiding big crowds of people. Students are to walk away from anyone that may want to initiate a physical altercation. It is not safe to gravitate toward a large group. Check your child’s phone often and ensure you revise their social media postings on their various social media accounts. If you find something that is not appropriate, report it to the company, so the unacceptable accounts are deleted from the internet/social media.
Attentively,
Mrs. Melgoza-Vasquez, Principal

Parent / Guardian Reminder: Maintaining Students Safe
Guide to Success
Health
Message From The Health Office:
The health office is a busy place. We have seen an increase in students coming to the health office that appear to be using the COVID protocols as a way to get out of class. Please talk with your student about not coming to the health office unless they are genuinely not feeling well. Also, COVID is still present and we are following the current Ventura County Public Health guidelines so please have a plan for who can pick up your student in case your student is sent home sick. Any COVID symptoms still require a negative COVID test result for the student to return to school. We want students in class as much as possible while looking out for your students' health and safety. Thank you for your help.
