October is Next Week, Y'all!
Titan Families,
Thank you for connecting with our teachers over the last few days in parent conferences. Having a partnership with your Titan(s)'s teacher is critical this school year. Your child's classroom teacher(s) aims to meet with you and partner in ensuring a supportive learning experience. If you haven't had the opportunity to connect by phone, virtually, or on campus with your Titan(s)'s teacher, please be sure to prioritize it to ensure a fantastic year of learning and connection.
There are a few upcoming community events to end the month of September and in October. Vandegrift HS has their homecoming game this Friday and is holding a parade and pep rally on Wednesday, and more information is below on other fun happenings! Please continue to read on and calendar times for your family to engage.
Should you need anything, please feel free to reach out to our front office team at 512-570-6900.
Take care and be well,
Dr. Amy Sharp

Watch D.O.G.S. Sign- Up Today!
WATCH D.O.G.S. is a national program focusing on the prevention of violence in our children’s schools by using the positive influence of fathers and father-figures to be a positive role model for all students. The change this year is that you don't need to volunteer for an entire day; we will have hourly opportunities available should you prefer that. Anything to keep your involvement on campus!
While on campus, WATCH D.O.G.S may-
work in small groups with kids,
support staff out at recess,
support lunch room clean up and etiquette eat lunch,
monitor the school entrances and hallways,
assist with arrival and dismissal,
mentor students, and much more!
