Join us in celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3 – May 7, 2021, by sharing your appreciation for our dedicated, inspiring, and professional Urbandale Community School District educators. These exceptional individuals have gone above and beyond in supporting students’ academic success, building meaningful relationships with students, and fostering emotional well-being during a school year full of uncertainty, challenges, and change.
Please consider reaching out to your Remote Classroom teachers or in-person classroom teachers with a note or email sharing your gratitude and appreciation for ALL of the many, many ways they have given of themselves to support students. We are incredibly thankful for the tremendous dedication and compassion of our UCSD teachers! #weappreciateU

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Events May 3-7, 2021
Students will receive a few notecards in their backpack. These may be used for a picture or note of thanks and returned to any teacher or staff member, any day during the week.
Students may also fill out a virtual survey “All About My Teacher” for as many teachers as they’d like. Surveys will be compiled into a virtual book for each teacher. https://forms.gle/82GEzRYLEfWfsJzF8

Students are encouraged to dress in their teacher’s favorite color. PTO will be providing stress relief items in the lounge to create a fun, relaxing space.

All money raised for the tournament will go towards the UEF education grants to support UCSD teachers and scholarships to support UHS seniors.

Registration for the Urbandale Community Education Summer Camp Series is open. Be sure to register early and before deadlines as there will be no walk-in registrations. Camps fill up quickly so be sure to register today!

REGISTERING for the 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR
Register Today! Student Registration For The 2021-22 School Year
School registration for the 2021–2022 school year is underway! Families with students in kindergarten through 11th grade currently enrolled in the district received an email mid-March with instructions for online registration. For families without email, a letter will be mailed to you in April with instructions for registering your student(s). Once the email/letter has been received, families are welcome to register their student(s) through the online registration process. Ideally, we’d like to have all students registered for the 2021-22 school year by June 4.

Preschool Students—if your child will be 3 years old or 4 years old by September 15, 2021, click here for specific information about registering your preschool student.
Kindergarten Students—if your child will be 5 years old by September 15, 2021, click here for specific information about registering your kindergarten student.
