Happy Friday Cougar Families!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are refreshed and prepared for a strong finish.

2022 Broadway World Regional Awards

Congratulations to Nicole LaBella, Heather Luck and the performing arts students who performed in The Holiday Channel Christmas Wonderland and The Addams Family. They have been nominated for a number of 2022 Broadway World Regional Awards. Click HERE to cast your vote! Our amazing performers are preparing for another award winning musical that opens next week, December 8.

Intent to Enroll Online Application (NEW STUDENTS ONLY)

Calling all future Cougars! The new student enrollment process for the 2023-24 school year is now open! All first time Cougars who wish to attend Steele Canyon High School next year must complete an Intent to Enroll Online Application. Applications must be submitted by the end of day on February 22, 2023 to be considered in the lottery. More information can be found on our website at www.schscougars.org

*Current Steele Canyon students do not need to apply. Their registration automatically rolls over into next school year

Fill the Boot

Fill the Boot made a triumphant return this week. After a three year hiatus, it was so refreshing to see one of our community traditions return. Big thanks to our Cougar Crew Leaders, Kim Dickinson, Megan Werland, and Morgyn Geck, and Cougar Crew students for an amazing job. Their leadership and enthusiasm helped raise over $3,500 for needy families in our community. Our students will get the opportunity to go shopping tomorrow evening at Target in Rancho San Diego and the parade is on Saturday.

SCHS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

It was a pleasure visiting with our Cougar parents, school counselors, Assistant Principal Mrs. Hernandez and Principal Mr. Parr prior to the parent education workshop on Tuesday, 11/29/22. Fun to get to know one another and learn how everyone's high school experience at SCHS is going. Let's plan another parent social for spring when the hustle and bustle of the holidays are over and the weather is a bit warmer. PTO welcomes your ideas for ways to connect families and get them involved on campus. Send us an email with suggestions at pto@schscougars.org.

Steele Regiment

Steele Regiment finished the marching season strong. After being ranked 9th in the state and qualifying for state championships, Steele Regiment moved up two places and finished 7th out of 32 schools! Congratulations Steele Regiment: The Pride of the Canyon!
