Course Registration Open!
Begin Requesting Classes NOW for 2024-25
The PowerSchool Portal is now open for students to input their course selection requests for the 2024-2025 school year!
It will be open now through Sunday, March 3, 2024. Please find PowerSchool Course access to course selection sheets, our 2024-2025 Program of Studies, and Counselor Caseload information linked below.
We encourage families to plan courses that are well thought out, create a balanced schedule with appropriately challenging courses, and take into consideration after-school activities and commitments as well as students’ long-term plans. We encourage students to talk to their families, school counselors, and teachers about what courses will be the best fit.

TIME CHANGE! College Planning Night for Juniors
Tuesday, February 27 at 6:00
Join us on Tuesday for college planning night! Our counselors and guests will share important information for our 11th grade students as they prepare for the college application process.
Please note the move earlier to 6:00pm. The time was moved due to our Girls Basketball team hosting a first round state playoff game, which will start at 7:00. We hope to see you at both events!
SATs: Be Sure Your Junior Is Prepared
The SATs are Still Important!!
Despite the trend in recent years where there was a significant increase in the number of colleges and universities that have gone "test optional" for admissions, performance on the SAT is still important for a few reasons.
You may have read that in the last few weeks both Dartmouth and Yale have announced that they will again be using SATs as part of their admissions process, because the evidence has shown that the SAT is a good indicator of first-year success at college. It is reasonable to think that before the Fall 2024 admissions cycle begins, more colleges and universities will move away from test-optional admissions.
Even for schools that are test optional, SAT scores may still be used for merit-based scholarships and financial aid, or required as additional information that admissions officials request.
While no one test predicts success in life, doing well on the SAT can open doors for post high school education. We encourage all of our students to take the SATs seriously, and do their best to prepare for the tests in March.
"Boot Camp" & Testing Coming in March
On March 4th, all juniors will begin in-school SAT preparatory activities with a class meeting to review SAT test taking strategies, and complete pre-administration tasks.
On March 7th & 8th, juniors will have the opportunity to take a sample test during parent/teacher conference times. These sample tests are optional, but students are encouraged to sign up to come in and take advantage of the chance to practice.
Beginning March 11, all juniors will be pre-assigned during REBEL Block to review core concepts in English Language Arts and Math. Juniors will be receiving more information in their school email.
The SAT will be administered the week of March 25th. Juniors will be assigned a test-taking date. They will be receiving more information in their school email.
