Spirit Week Schedule:
In order for us to support Homecoming Week for Cambridge-Isanti, we will be joining the high school on a number of their theme days. Here are the themes for each day:
Monday: Class Color Day: Wear something that matches your grade’s color:
K-2 = Green
Third Grade =Yellow
Fourth Grade = Red
Fifth Grade = Blue
Tuesday: Tacky Tuesday-Don’t be afraid to wear some bizarre mismatched clothing.
Wednesday: Sports Gear Wednesday: Wear your favorite sports attire
Thursday: Twinning Thursday You and your friend dress alike. Can we tell who’s who?
Friday: School Spirit Day- Homecoming -Wear Blue and White!
PLC: (2:35-3:20): This week we will be reviewing student data to make instructional decisions. We will meet in the Main Office Conference Room
Monday: Grade 4 IIS

Focus Question for PLC: How will we ensure that all students meet the essential benchmarks we have established as priorities?
What are the strategies and techniques we will use to monitor the growth of each student on the essential benchmarks for our grade or department? What are we going to do together to make sure all students grow at a high level to meet or exceed state standards?
Professional Development This Week:
This week during PLC we will be reviewing Fall Benchmark Student Data as part our monthly Student Assistance Team meeting and making instructional. decisions as a PLC.
We will also be reviewing and considering the new Innovation Program starting in our school district called Bluejacket Brainstorm. Kristin Daniels and Shelley Schwab will be presenting on this topic at our Wednesday Faculty Meeting.
After our Compass Learning Training last Friday we will be making instructional decisions about how to incorporate it in our reading and math blocks to individualize instruction for our students.
Fall Conferences Timeline
Fall Book Fair Begins Soon!
Our Fall Book Fair will be held October 10-17 and it will be in the Media Center. Students can shop on selected nights during conferences or during selected times during the school day. All profits from the Book fair are used to purchase additional books for our school library.

First Grade-Meghan Currie-Recognized for being a great helper who listens and is always on task. She always has a beautiful smile on her face.
Kindergarten-Abigail Millsap-She is being recognized for demonstrating responsibility in the hallway and in the classroom.
