Arrival/Dismissal Reminder
Please remember at student drop off and dismissal there is a right turn only on to Bel Aire. We have had several parents trying to turn left in the mornings and it is causing safety issues for students. Thank you for your cooperation.
Walk-A-Thon
The Walk-A-Thon was a success. Samuelson students raised over $13,000 for our school!!!!! Walk-A-Thon proceeds will help fund many things for our school like technology, library items, playground equipment, etc. We are so proud of all the hard work put into making this fundraiser great!
Winter Recess Guidelines
This is just a reminder to please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor recess. Samuelson students go outside when the temperature including the wind chill is above 15. If your child would like to play in the snow they will need snow pants and boots. They will also need shoes to change into when they come inside. Students will not be allowed to wear wet boots in the classrooms. Thank you for your cooperation.
The PBIS Paw Store Is Back!
Samuelson follows the principles of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS). As a PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) school, we strive to prevent behavior problems before they happen. At the beginning of the year and after each school break, we take time to teach our expectations to all students. Students and classes who demonstrate respectful, responsible and motivated learning are rewarded by earning different incentives. One of our main and most popular incentives is the Paw Store. Students earn paws for being respectful, responsible, and motivated learners. They are able to purchase items from the Paw Store with the paws they have earned monthly.
Please Remember Your Mask
Anyone entering our building must wear a mask. Please make sure your child is bringing their mask every day.
Star Students
Every month one student from each homeroom gets chosen for Star Student. Samuelson Star Students exemplify being respectful, responsible, and motivated learners.
