Charles Williams Named ASCA Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee Chair
Alexandria, VA (Oct. 1, 2023) – The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) announces Charles Williams has been named 2023–2024 chair of the ASCA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee. Williams is a school counselor at Solar Preparatory School for Boys, in Dallas, Texas.
“Charles has been a valuable member of the ASCA DEI Committee for the past three years, and we look forward to working with him in his new leadership role,” said Jill Cook, ASCA executive director.
The ASCA DEI Committee focuses on promoting DEI awareness throughout ASCA’s work and exploring new opportunities to highlight DEI awareness in school counseling.
