PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
Hello Eagle Crest Families!
We are excited to share that our annual Laps For Leadership PTO fundraiser is just around the corner! This event not only helps support our school and its programs, but also promotes healthy living and community involvement.
The actual run will take place on Thursday, April 27th at the Altona track. The grade level running schedule is linked here. We invite all families to come out and cheer on our students as they run for a great cause.
We are currently in the process of collecting donations which can be sent in the form of cash or check in the fundraising envelopes sent home last week, or, through the Get Movin’ Fund Hub account. If you have not already done so, please register your students online for free or update their existing Get Movin' Fund Hub account. Our students will earn a water bottle sticker for their first donation of any amount, and the grade level with the highest level of fundraising participation each week will win double recess.
But that's not all! If we reach our fundraising goal of $23,000, the Kona Ice truck will visit during Field Day and provide free Kona ice for all students! In addition, I will move my office outside for the day and dye my hair pink!
I appreciate your support in making this year's Laps For Leadership PTO fundraiser a success. Let's work together to reach our goal and provide our students with the best possible educational experience.
Warmly,
Amanda

CAMPUS SUPERVISOR
The safety of our school environments has always been a top priority in St. Vrain Valley Schools. As the district continues to invest in security upgrades, mental health resources, counselors, and other supports to ensure the well-being and success of our students, we are excited to share that a new Campus Supervisor position will be provided to all elementary schools in the district.
Currently at all middle and high schools in St. Vrain, Campus Supervisors promote safe and secure learning environments for students by providing an additional layer of facility monitoring, oversight, and communication regarding any potential risks or safety concerns. These roles also play an important part in fostering a positive building environment by building relationships with students and serving as another trusted adult in the building.
If you or someone you know is interested in applying to be Eagle Crest’s Campus Supervisor, a job description and application can be accessed here: https://www.applitrack.com/stvrain/onlineapp/default.aspx?Category=Security.

ADD MONEY TO YOUR CHILD'S SCHOOL BREAKFAST & LUNCH ACCOUNT
MySchoolBucks is the website you want to access in order to add funds to your child’s account for purchasing breakfast, lunch, or milk at school. This system will send you reminders and can manage the account of multiple students. Money can also be sent to school by check or cash. Please label any checks or cash with the students first name, last name, and teacher.
If you haven’t yet, you can apply for Free & Reduced meals to see if your family qualifies for free meals. Applying for Free & Reduced lunch will help manage fees (like iPad Insurance or sports) and also helps our school receive additional funds and services.
