Google Accounts in Mayfield

Recently your child created their free Google account that is being managed by Mayfield City Schools. This account gives your child access to their Google Apps for Education account with all of the Google services, including Google Docs, Google Classroom, Gmail, and Google Slides, etc. The Google account is necessary to provide access to the new Chromebooks across the district!

Just a reminder that families must complete the OLR for students to have Internet access at school. Please check with the school office if you have questions about completing the OLR.

Students are only able to email staff members through Gmail. All emails are blocked unless being sent to an email address that ends with "@mayfieldschools.org".

In order for your child to sign into their account at home, you need a device that has internet access!

Go to Google.

Go to www.google.com or search for Google in your browser's search box.

Click on Sign in. The blue Sign in button is on the upper-right corner.

Enter your email address and click on Next.

Make sure you enter your computer username with @mayfieldstudents.org

Type your password and click on the Next.

Congratulations!! Now you can see your Google profile icon on the right corner. You have signed INTO your google account at home!

When you click on the "waffle" button, you will the available Google Apps to students!

You can also see "More" apps by clicking on the word and opening another list of available apps.

Remember to ALWAYS sign out of Google when you are done using your account (at home or at school). To sign out click on your Google profile picture and select Sign out from there.
