I hope everyone was able to enjoy a wonderful weekend! We have an exciting week planned for students as we enter the last week of school before the holiday break. There will be no school from December 26th - January 6th. School will resume on Monday, January 9th. Please take a look at the additional information below and reach out to the main office with any questions.

Lost and Found

The lost and found table is filling up quickly. Clothing items, water bottles, lunch bags, and more. Encourage your student to take a look for any items they may have misplaced. The lost and found table is located outside the main office. Items will be donated after December 23rd.

12 Days of Christmas

We would like to invite all students to join staff in spreading a little holiday cheer! Students are encouraged to dress up festively before our holiday break. Follow the link below for a detailed list of themes.

Candy Cane Sale

Student Council will be selling candy canes before school each morning, Monday through Thursday, in the main commons until the holiday break. Small candy canes are 25 cents, big peppermint are 50 cents, and big specialty candy canes cost $1.

RP Fishing Team

The 2023 Reeths Puffer Fishing Team is looking for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders interested in the sport of fishing. An informational meeting will be held at the middle school on December 20th at 6pm in the LMC. Parents are highly encouraged to attend. The meeting will be approximately an hour long. Please feel free to contact Kevin Carr at 231-670-0607 with any questions.

Ski Club

We are proud to once again offer a Middle School and Intermediate Ski Club for R-P students in 5th through 8th grades. Our Ski Club will be heading to Caberfae Peaks on five Friday nights this year- January 13th ending February 4th. (1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, and 2/10). Tryouts will begin the week we return from the holiday break. Students must have an updated physical on file and a Final Forms account created in order to participate in tryouts.

Please check your Final Forms account to ensure that all documentation has been uploaded and submitted. Those missing documentation will be considered ineligible immediately and will not be able to practice or participate until all documentation is complete.

Absences

We appreciate the communication our office is receiving when your child is not able to come to school. In some cases, when information is left on the absent voicemail it may take some time to process and input the information. Please allow us 24 hours to ensure attendance is accurate before calling in to verify attendance. We will continue to do our very best to make sure attendance is accurate and completed in a timely manner. Additionally, please make sure to communicate through the office when your students must be picked up from school. This will help us to ensure your child's safety.
