Parent Newsletter 9/21/23
A Note from Mr. Hamilton, Principal
Central Families,
What an awesome start to the 2023-2024 school year!
It was great seeing many if not most of you at the recent Back to School Bash. Special thanks to our PTO for sponsoring the event, and to our food truck vendors for making the evening extra special. Be looking for information in the coming weeks regarding a fall festival!
Teachers have worked hard these first few weeks establishing a safe and supportive classroom community while introducing their learning routines and rhythms. Keep emphasizing the Rocket Way (Respect, Pride, Integrity) at home, along with our monthly theme of Empathy.
We talk a lot about making the current year the best one yet. I think we are well on our way!
Thank you for your ongoing partnership with us!
Cordially,
Cody

R-P Good News
Hey Parents,
Did you know that R-P has a Facebook page for Good News?
Find the page and answer the questions in order to join.
This group has been created to spread good news and encouragement to the Reeths-Puffer School Community. It’s a lot of fun too!
Don't forget... Respect, Pride, and Integrity is the "Rocket Way"!
Here are the group rules:
- Pre-Approval Required. All posts are subject to approval prior to being posted.
- Kindness Keeps You. Group administration reserves the right to refuse or remove members or posts from the group.
- Be Kind and Courteous. Let's maintain Respect, Pride and Integrity, "The Rocket Way". Disagreements are unavoidable but kindness is required.
- No Hate Speech or Bullying. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity etc. will not be tolerated.
- No Promotions or Spam. Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.
- Respect Everyone's Privacy. Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.
Looking forward to seeing you there! Make sure to answer the questions when you join!

Outdoor Classroom
We continue to inch towards our goal in pursuit of an outdoor classroom in the courtyard here at Central. Although the goal seems like a considerable amount (and it is), it ultimately equates to roughly $100 per student. So, for about a hundred bucks, your child could benefit from an enhanced learning experience here at Central. This is something that will be used by all and benefit the Central community for the next 20+ years. Please consider donating, and know that any efforts made towards helping our dream come true is greatly appreciated!
